Wow, everyone. We don’t even know what to say about how great the turnout was for yesterday’s Grandma Party. We love our vendors so much, and it was wonderful to see everyone appreciate their crafts as much as these artisans way deserve.
Our community has grown so much over the past six years. Grandma Party is always fun, but you should know that these vendors are definitely working year-round, so you can find them many times on their own websites and at really great events like the weekly Audubon Park Community Market, every Monday 6-10 pm at Stardust Video and Coffee.
Special thanks to the sponsors and especially Stardust Video and Coffee who hosts us faithfully every year. Man, do we love inhabiting that parking lot.
The raffle table is kind of blowing my mind right now. $1 gets you the opportunity to win gift certificates to Alchemy, Will’s, Ace Metric, Stardust, Etoile and a bunch of your other favorite local businesses. There’s also amazing stuff from vendors including vintage dresses, a giant birdhouse, a Casio keyboard, two passes to Orange You Glad, knitted goods, jewelry and dang, so much more.

Hello Grandma friends!
Do you have old books around that you know you’ll never read again? Then why not donate them to the Orlando Book Exchange, a start-up project promoting a “leave-one, take-one” exchange process.
In order to get the project going there are two things we need: books and weather-proof boxes!
Please consider donating some books and/or donating a few dollars to cover the cost of the boxes.
The boxes will also be available to trade magazines, movies, CDs, anything! But we primarily want to make sure that people have access to lots of different book genres…knowledge and creativity is public property!
Once set up, the project will keep itself going!
Donations will be accepted at Grandma Party at the LITTLE SEA booth (there will be a table with a basket and signs).
